Patridom XO Limoux Cask Finish is a Spirit Drink with Caribbean Rum from the Dominican Republic, aged 12 to 15 years with a finishing period in ex-Limoux casks, bottled at 43%.
The base is the same as the Cognac edition: Patridom's core bottling XO, a premium rum made from fresh cane juice and molasses, fully tropically aged in American and French oak casks. This limited edition then received an additional maturation in ex-Limoux casks from the south of France, adding a different, more wine-driven fruit note to the rum. The edition was bottled in July 2023 and is limited to 1,949 bottles.
The Limoux finish gives the rum a touch of white wine acidity and freshness, clearly setting it apart from the other Patridom editions.
