The rum was selected by Rum Nation, the Italian independent bottler founded in 1999, which has since specialised in finding and bottling rum from the Caribbean and Central America. This edition is distilled from molasses on traditional pot still in 2017 and then aged for five years in casks that previously held Spanish Oloroso sherry. Only 624 bottles were filled from this limited release.

The result is a full-bodied, complex rum, where roasted almonds meet ripe plum and a hint of chocolate.
