"The Smoky Twelve is the perfect marriage of fruit, malt, oak and layers of smoke. The whisky is unconventionally matured in three cask types consisting of Bourbon casks, Sherry casks and Marsala casks. This combination has given the whisky an almost creamy and soft structure with many layers of ripe fruit aromas, a very aromatic smoky sweetness and lovely warming oak spices.

This special cask treatment, where the inner staves are shaved and re‑charred, adds extra depth, intensity and a layer of toasted sweetness that enhances the distillery’s naturally robust style. Bottled at full cask strength of 58%, un‑chillfiltered and with natural colour, it offers a pure and unaltered expression of both cask and spirit.

On the nose, warm bourbon notes, vanilla, toasted oak and a gentle waxy richness appear—classic markers of Benrinnes’ weighty, meaty distillate. Beneath that lie fruity tones of baked apples, citrus oil and a hint of malt biscuits. The palate is intense, full‑bodied and oily, with layers of caramelised sugar, vanilla pod, spicy oak and a deep, almost syrupy sweetness from the re‑charred cask. The high strength provides structure and warmth, while a fresh, fruity core keeps everything in balance, especially with a few drops of water. This exceptional single malt from Benrinnes was bottled by the renowned independent bottler Lady of the Glen. Distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2025, this 11-year-old whisky was matured in a First Fill ex-bourbon barrel and bottled at natural cask strength – 56.4%.

Bergslagens The Art Collection No 2 Port Cask is a Swedish Single Malt Whisky matured in a port wine cask and bottled at 55%.

The whisky is number two in The Art Collection series and comes from a 225-litre port wine cask from 2011. The cask was bottled in February 2019, and the result is a smoky whisky with clear notes of leather and dried fruit from the port cask.
