Ærø Single Cask No. 1 is the first release from Ærø Distillery, marking the beginning of their journey into single cask whisky production on the Danish island. This special bottling comes from a single cask and is a rare, exclusive release that gives whisky enthusiasts a unique opportunity to experience the distillery’s very first craftsmanship.

The whisky is bottled at 43%, offering a rich and concentrated flavour experience. It has been matured in carefully selected casks that contribute notes of vanilla, caramel and dried fruit, combined with subtle tones of oak and spice. The higher alcohol strength enhances the complexity and depth while maintaining a balanced interplay between sweetness and spice.

On the nose, it presents a full aroma with notes of ripe fruit, honey, spices and a hint of smoke, immediately sparking curiosity and inviting a taste. The palate is intense, rounded and complex, with layers of malt, caramel, dark chocolate and lightly spiced oak, creating a rich and memorable experience.
