Macallan 15 Year Old Double Cask is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in sherry seasoned European and American oak casks and bottled at 43%. Like the 12-year-old it uses two cask types — but 15 years in cask delivers a noticeably deeper and more complex profile. European oak contributes dried fruit and warm spices, while American oak adds vanilla and caramel. The result is a whisky with orange peel, light smoke and a finish that surpasses the 12-year-old in length and complexity.
