Sall Whisky 5 Year Fondillon Cask is a Danish Single Malt Whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in rare Fondillón casks from Alicante, bottled at 55.4% Vol. This is a historic release: World First Ex-Fondillón Distillery Bottling.

Fondillón is an oxidative red wine from the Monastrell grape, produced exclusively in the Alicante region in quantities so small that it rarely reaches international markets. Sall Whisky is a Single Farm Single Malt distillery near Ebeltoft in Central Jutland with full control over barley, malting and maturation. The result is a 100% organic Danish whisky at 55.4% with a wine cask profile never previously seen in Danish whisky history. 340 bottles, no chill filtration, no colouring added.

Nose

Dried orange peel and dark raisins from the Fondillón cask, with hints of fig and old wine cellar. Beneath the wine character lies Sall Whisky's clean malt and a gentle nutty sweetness.
