  • Bottle of Kilchoman 16 Year Old Islay Single Malt Whisky, deep golden colour
    Item no.: 059763-615-483

Kilchoman was founded in 2005, so a 16 year old bottling isn't just an age statement — it's basically the distillery's entire lifetime captured in one glass. It's the oldest official Kilchoman ever to leave the warehouse.

    Expert's description

Kilchoman 16 Year Old is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, matured for 16 years and bottled at 50 %.

The whisky is built from 21 selected casks, mainly ex-bourbon with a smaller proportion of ex-oloroso sherry casks that add depth and a hint of darker fruit. At 16 years old, it's the longest maturation Kilchoman has ever put its name to, and a rare chance to taste what happens when the distillery's young, energetic style is allowed to mature far beyond most of the house's other releases.

The long maturation in Kilchoman's warehouses by the Atlantic has given the spirit time to settle and round out, without losing the citrus-fresh smoke that defines the distillery. The result is a whisky that's both deeper and more complex than the younger core range, yet unmistakably Kilchoman.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Ripe apples and honey meet dried apricot and a deep, earthy peat smoke, with a hint of vanilla and old oak underneath.

    Palate

Full and round, with caramel, toasted nuts and a warm spice note that slowly lets the smoke take over alongside a light sherry sweetness.

    Finish

Long and dry, with lingering smoke, dark chocolate and a final, gentle sweetness from the sherry casks.

    Investment potential

Medium. This is the oldest official age statement Kilchoman has ever released, from a limited number of casks — the kind of release that historically becomes harder to find as the years pass.

    Did you know?

When Kilchoman was founded in 2005, several in the industry doubted whether such a small farm distillery would ever produce a double-digit age statement. Sixteen years later, the answer speaks for itself.

  • Bottle of Kilchoman Single Cask FC Whisky Denmark Islay Single Malt Whisky from 2007
    Item no.: 22227865411-1

Five years after Kilchoman was founded, this cask was filled with spirit that had barely settled into its own style. It is a bottle from the distillery's earliest years, back when nobody yet knew how big Kilchoman would become.

    Expert's description

Kilchoman 2007/2010 Single Cask FC Whisky Denmark 1 is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 3 years old from a single bourbon cask and bottled at cask strength, 62.4 %.

The whisky was distilled on 30 May 2007 and bottled on 21 July 2010 from bourbon cask number 118/07. It is the very first release in the former FC Whisky Denmark series, where Kilchoman selected individual casks specifically for the Danish market during the distillery's earliest years.

Tasting this whisky today is like tasting the story of a distillery still finding its own voice — young, raw and intense, but already carrying the citrus-fresh peat smoke that would later define Kilchoman's style.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Young, sharp peat smoke meets green apple and citrus peel, with a hint of vanilla custard and freshly cut wood from the bourbon cask.

    Palate

Powerful and spiced at cask strength, with peppery smoke, honey and a distinctly oily texture that shows the spirit's youthful energy.

    Finish

Long and intense, with lingering smoke and a dry, mineral finish reminiscent of Islay's maritime character.

High. This whisky comes from Kilchoman's earliest production years and was the first in a now-discontinued series of single casks for the Danish market — a combination that makes it a rare taste of the distillery's early history.

    Did you know?

This cask was filled while Kilchoman was still one of the youngest distilleries in Scotland — just two years after its 2005 founding, before the distillery's now-iconic Machir Bay had even been created.

    Item no.: 22227865411-2

Three weeks after the first FC Whisky Denmark cask was filled in 2007, the next one followed. This single cask is number two in the series — a younger sibling with a temperament all its own, even though the two casks were filled almost simultaneously.

    Expert's description

Kilchoman 2007/2010 Single Cask FC Whisky Denmark 2 is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 3 years old from a single bourbon cask and bottled at cask strength, 60.5 %.

The whisky was distilled on 20 June 2007 and bottled on 17 September 2010 from bourbon cask number 156/07. It is the second release in the former FC Whisky Denmark series, where Kilchoman selected individual casks specifically for the Danish market in its earliest years.

Although the cask was filled around the same time as FC Whisky Denmark 1, the two whiskies show just how differently two casks from the same period can develop — a reminder of why single cask releases can never be repeated.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Sharp, young peat smoke meets citrus peel and a hint of honey, with a light mineral undercurrent.

    Palate

Intense and spiced at cask strength, with peppery smoke, sweet malt and a distinctly oily texture.

    Finish

Long and dry, with lingering smoke and a final trace of salted caramel.

  • Bottle of Kilchoman Kolding Whiskylaug 2007/2017 Islay Single Malt Whisky
    Item no.: 505956-689457-1

A full decade in a single bourbon cask, selected for the members of one of Denmark's whisky clubs. This bottle from the Kolding Whiskylaug series is a testament to what patience and a well-chosen cask can do for an Islay spirit.

    Expert's description

Kilchoman 2007/2017 Kolding Whiskylaug is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 10 years old from a single bourbon cask and bottled at 55 %.

The whisky was distilled on 6 June 2007 and bottled on 25 August 2017 from cask number 130. The cask was selected exclusively for Kolding Whiskylaug af 1999, and only 246 numbered bottles exist in total.

Ten years of maturation in a single bourbon cask gives the whisky a depth and structure that clearly sets it apart from Kilchoman's younger standard releases, while the distillery's characteristic peated Islay style remains intact.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Powerful peat notes meet dried fruit and sea salt, with a hint of spice and old oak.

    Palate

Full and complex, with layers of peated malt, dried fruit, dark chocolate and subtle tones of oak.

    Finish

Long, warm and smoky, with lingering notes of peat, vanilla and a hint of citrus.

Three weeks before cask number 130 was filled, this cask, number 102, was laid to rest in the same warehouse. Ten years later the two neighbouring casks were bottled on the same day — but they taste far from identical.

    Expert's description

Kilchoman 2007/2017 Kolding Whiskylaug is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 10 years old from a single bourbon cask and bottled at 55.1 %.

The whisky was distilled on 16 May 2007 and bottled on 25 August 2017 from cask number 102. Like its companion cask 130, it was selected exclusively for Kolding Whiskylaug af 1999, but this time with only 240 numbered bottles in total.

The small difference in strength, 55.1 % against cask 130's 55 %, is a small testament to how differently two casks from the same warehouse can develop over ten years of maturation — a reminder of why single cask whisky can never be repeated.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

    Item no.: 059763-615-748

One cask, one bottling, one country. This 8 year old single cask was filled into a single bourbon barrel in December 2015 and bottled eight years later exclusively for the Danish market — a whisky you won't find matched anywhere else.

    Expert's description

Kilchoman 2015/2023 Single Cask Release is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 8 years old from a single bourbon cask and bottled at cask strength, 57.9 %.

The whisky comes from bourbon cask number 2015/956, distilled on 1 December 2015 and bottled on 4 December 2023 — exactly eight years later. Because it comes from a single cask alone, every bottle is part of an irreversibly limited selection: only 255 bottles exist in total, bottled exclusively for Denmark.

With no water added and at full cask strength, this single cask shows Kilchoman's character completely unfiltered — intense, powerful and carrying a distinct signature from the individual cask that no other bottling can replicate.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Fresh vanilla and citrus peel meet a powerful, almost crisp peat smoke, with a hint of green apple and freshly cut wood.

    Palate

Intense and full at cask strength — sweet vanilla and honey cut through by a distinct, peppery smoke and a touch of sea salt.

    Finish

Long and powerful, with lingering smoke and a dry, lightly spiced close that reminds you how young and energetic the spirit still is despite the eight years.

    Item no.: 22227865411-33

Every story has a first chapter. For Kilchoman, this bottle was it — the very first whisky the distillery ever sent out into the world, and the proof that a small farm distillery on Islay could make something people would remember.

    Expert's description

Kilchoman Inaugural Release is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 3 years old and bottled at 46 %.

The whisky was released in 2009 and is the very first bottle of malt whisky Kilchoman ever put its name to. It was matured for between 2.5 and 3 years in bourbon casks, before receiving a finishing period of 6 months in sherry casks — a recipe that set the tone for much of what the distillery has since become known for.

The release was met with considerable acclaim from the start, including 92 points from the respected publication Malt Advocate — an unusually high accolade for a distillery still in its absolute infancy.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Young, energetic peat smoke meets citrus peel and a sweetness of honey and vanilla from the sherry finish.

    Palate

Direct and spiced, with peppery smoke, sweet malt and a light fruitiness confirming the cask finish's influence.

    Item no.: 22227865411-100

2010 was the year Kilchoman really started finding its audience. Summer 2010 is one of the releases that cemented the distillery's reputation as one of Islay's most exciting new names, long before Machir Bay became a household term.

    Expert's description

Kilchoman Summer 2010 Release is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled at 46 %.

The release belongs to the period when Kilchoman named its bottlings after the season — a practice that continued until Machir Bay took over as the standing standard release in 2012. Summer 2010 followed in the wake of the distillery's first major successes, Inaugural Release and Autumn 2009, and helped build the reputation that today makes Kilchoman one of Scotland's most respected farm distilleries.

The whisky shows the young, energetic style that characterised Kilchoman in these years — a style that has since been refined, but has never fully lost its original edge.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Fresh citrus and green apples meet a distinct, almost sharp peat smoke, with a hint of honey underneath.

    Palate

  • Lakes Distillery Faith Single Malt Whisky bottle
    Item no.: 22227865479-1106-19601

Striding Edge is one of the most exposed walking routes in the Lake District - a narrow ridge of rock with steep drops on both sides. Walking it takes faith. Faith is named for exactly that feeling, and it carries the same intensity in the glass.

    Expert's Description

Lakes Distillery Faith Single Malt Whisky is an English single malt whisky matured in Spanish and American oak casks and bottled at 56.5% ABV.

Faith was the first release in The Lakes Distillery's Quatrefoil Collection in 2018, a series named after the distillery's four core values: faith, hope, luck and love. The whisky was first matured in Spanish and American oak casks seasoned with Bourbon and Oloroso sherry, then given a second maturation in PX hogsheads of Spanish and American oak. The result is a complex single malt with comforting notes of dried fruit, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon.

The Quatrefoil Collection is now held in The Lakes Distillery's archive and is no longer part of ongoing production, making Faith a closed release from the distillery's early years on the banks of the River Derwent in Cumbria.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Clear sherry character with apricot pastry, mirabelle marmalade and dried apricots, spiced with a touch of cinnamon and vanilla.

    Palate

A sweet arrival with a touch of sourness - grapefruit ahead of apricot and mirabelle - in fine balance between the spice of the wood and the sweetness of the malt.

    Finish

Surprisingly long, sweet and slightly sour with a mild, drying close.

The quatrefoil symbol the collection is named after is carved directly into the bedrock beneath the distillery - a four-lobed motif that symbolically ties Faith to its sister releases Hope, Luck and Love.

Laphroaig 15 Year Old Version Single Islay Malt Whisky 43%

Laphroaig 15 Year Old is a refined and more sophisticated version of the classic 10-year expression – here in a vintage bottling from 2008. This single malt presents lively notes of fresh oak and warm peat smoke, supported by a gentle sweetness reminiscent of freshly grated nutmeg and roasted almonds. A subtle saltiness rounds off the overall impression.

On the nose, powerful peat smoke dominates with hints of tar, iodine, and a touch of creosote. A bit of fruit unfolds and blends with elegant smoky swirls, resulting in a rich and complex aromatic profile.

The taste opens with medicinal peat smoke that quickly softens and becomes more harmonious. It is rich, smooth, and well-balanced, with sweetness slowly emerging, followed by intense peat smoke and a hint of malt.

Ledaig 18 Years Tobermory Single Isle of Mull Malt Scotch Whisky 70 cl 46.3%

Ledaig 18 Years is a characterful and heavily peated single malt whisky from Tobermory Distillery, located on the picturesque Isle of Mull off Scotland’s west coast. Founded in 1798, the distillery produces both the unpeated Tobermory and the smoky Ledaig – two distinct expressions from the same source, but with very different flavor profiles.

Ledaig, pronounced “led-chig” and meaning “safe haven” in Gaelic, is the distillery’s tribute to the old style of west coast peated whisky.

Tobermory 18 Years Old is a single malt that demonstrates why the Isle of Mull distillery has become one of Scotland’s most respected names. This edition is the result of patience and careful maturation, spending most of its life in classic bourbon casks before receiving a sherry cask finish, which adds depth and complexity. The combination of these cask types creates a whisky with a unique balance of sweetness, smoke, maritime notes, and spice – all hallmarks of the Tobermory style.

As always, it is bottled at the distillery’s iconic strength of 46.3%, natural, un-chillfiltered, and without added color. This ensures the whisky is experienced exactly as intended by the master blender – authentic, pure, and true in character.

The nose opens with an intense fruitiness that immediately captures attention. Rich, smoky malt wraps elegantly around dried fruit, oak, and sherry aromas. A clear maritime influence is present – a salty sea breeze mingling with underlying sweetness, creating a harmonious balance.

On the palate, the whisky is powerful and full-bodied, yet refined. Layers unfold gradually: first herbal peat smoke, followed by soft caramel with sea salt, freshly grated orange zest, and a hint of old tobacco. Mid-palate, spices emerge, particularly the fresh bite of white pepper, adding structure and depth. This is a whisky that evolves in the mouth, inviting slow contemplation.

The finish is long, warm, and persistent. Smoke and sherry return in a rounded, elegant way, complemented by notes of licorice and a mineral freshness reminiscent of sea spray on an early morning. It is both satisfying and refined – clear proof of a whisky of exceptional class.

It is no surprise that Tobermory 18 Years Old has earned wide acclaim among whisky connoisseurs worldwide. In 2023, it was awarded “Whisky of the Year” by The Whisky Exchange, cementing its reputation as a modern classic. A whisky to be enjoyed by seasoned collectors and enthusiasts alike, as well as those seeking to experience the perfect balance of a Scottish single malt.

Tobermory 18 Years Old is more than just a whisky – it is a story of the Isle of Mull, the sea, tradition, and innovation. A dram that captures the essence of the distillery’s history and its ambition to create whisky of world-class quality.

    Item no.: 22227865480-67093-0097

25 years is a long time to wait for a bottle, and Murray McDavid spent the last three of them on something unusual: a cask that previously held Guyanese rum. The result is a single grain that tastes more of the Caribbean than of the Highlands.

    Expert's Description

Some whisky exists to quench a thirst, and some whisky exists to be sat with, because it has something to say. Loch Lomond 21 Year Old belongs firmly in the second category – a mature, unhurried story from a distillery unafraid to do things its own way.

    Expert's Description

Loch Lomond 21 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in American oak and bottled at 46%.

The whisky was launched alongside the distillery's major brand relaunch and is built from three different spirit styles from the distillery, two of which are peated. All three are matured separately in American oak casks before being married for up to three months in cask ahead of bottling. The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Apple and suet pastry give an impression of old-fashioned steamed pudding, growing thicker and sweeter over time with a hint of char.

    Palate

Sweet and lightly salty with warming spice, while sherry casks shine through with a deep hit of dried fruit and chocolate.

    Finish

Sharp fruit and barley notes meet the sweet chocolate tones in a long, rounded finish.

Sometimes a whisky is not just a celebration of a golf tournament, but also a story about the sea. Loch Lomond's 22 Year Old The Open Course Collection takes its final maturation in Spanish oak – a nod to a shipwreck that has rested off Portrush's coast since 1588.

    Expert's Description

Loch Lomond 22 Year Old The Open Course 2025 153rd Royal Portrush is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in American oak with a Spanish oak finish and bottled at 46.7%.

The whisky was distilled in 2002 using spirit exclusively from the distillery's unique straight neck pot stills and matured for over 21 years in American oak before receiving a six-month finish in specially toasted virgin Spanish oak from the distillery's own cooperage. The Spanish oak is a tribute to the Spanish Armada ship La Girona, which sank off the coast of Portrush in 1588. Master Blender Michael Henry crafted this expression, with just 3,500 bottles available worldwide. The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.

    Investment Potential

High – a 22-year-old, master-blended release of just 3,500 bottles with a unique cask concept and a historic Royal Portrush story makes this one of the most sought-after Loch Lomond releases for collectors.

    Did You Know?

The Spanish oak in the cask is chosen as a tribute to the Spanish Armada ship La Girona, which sank off the coast of Royal Portrush in 1588 – a story as old as the course's own landscape.
