The whisky is produced by Stauning Distillery, pioneers of Danish whisky. This edition marks the first Stauning Single Malt matured in Oloroso sherry casks, and it was officially released on November 27, 2013. Stauning is known for working with small batch sizes, craftsmanship, and an uncompromising approach to quality, which is clearly reflected in this bottling.
The whisky has undergone an Oloroso Cask Finish, meaning its final maturation took place in sherry casks.
