This release is number two in Ballechin's ongoing series of Madeira cask maturations and continues the line from earlier releases in the style. The Madeira cask's warm, lightly oxidised sweetness sits over Ballechin's earthy peat smoke and creates an approachable, yet still characterful whisky at a moderate strength of 46%.
