Kilchoman 2007/2017 Kolding Whiskylaug is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 10 years old from a single bourbon cask and bottled at 55 %.

The whisky was distilled on 6 June 2007 and bottled on 25 August 2017 from cask number 130. The cask was selected exclusively for Kolding Whiskylaug af 1999, and only 246 numbered bottles exist in total.

Ten years of maturation in a single bourbon cask gives the whisky a depth and structure that clearly sets it apart from Kilchoman's younger standard releases, while the distillery's characteristic peated Islay style remains intact.

Tasting notes

Nose

Powerful peat notes meet dried fruit and sea salt, with a hint of spice and old oak.

Palate

Full and complex, with layers of peated malt, dried fruit, dark chocolate and subtle tones of oak.

Finish

Long, warm and smoky, with lingering notes of peat, vanilla and a hint of citrus.
