This very limited edition from Compagnie des Indes (CDI) is called Kaiman. The name refers to the alligator-like reptile that, like the rum, also has a strong bite. Only 500 bottles were made worldwide of this very special rum. It is a blend of traditional rum from Guadeloupe, distilled way back in 1973. 10 years ago, the rum was moved to a much larger cask of 1000 liters. It is then blended together with 2 casks where the rum was distilled in 1993. The two casks consist of rum from Guyana and the three well-known stills; Savalle, Enmore and Uitvlugt, and Jamaica from Wedderburn. The blended consists of 72.2% Guadeloupe from 1973 and 27.8% of Guyana/Jamaica. Try Compagnie des Indes Kaiman if you want to taste a very special rum with a good bite.

Limited Batch Series Consummatus Batch 3 is a unique blend and the successor to our two previous successful batches. The goal of this blend was to create a sweet rum with a bit of edge and a pleasant mouthfeel.

This rum combines aged rum from Barbados with rum from Guatemala, as well as a potent, unaged Jamaican rum. It was blended directly in a cask that previously held Nicaragua rum from the same series. The cask helped the rum blend well together and added distinctive notes. The rum has aged for 18 months in the cask and has 12 g/l of sugar added to round out the flavor.
