Lady of the Glen Whisky

Gregor Hannah was only 27 when he named his whisky company after a ghost from Stirling Castle in 2012. Since then, the wild purple flowers on the label and the casks behind them have built one of Scotland's most personal independent bottling houses.
  • Auchroisk 2012/2024 Lady of the Glen 11 year old Rivesaltes finish bottle, Speyside Single Malt Whisky
    Item no.: 059763-615-1064

Rivesaltes is a southern French fortified wine from Roussillon that few people know and even fewer have seen in a whisky cask. That is exactly the kind of find Lady of the Glen has made their signature.

    The Expert's Description

Auchroisk 2012/2024 Lady of the Glen 11 Years Old is a Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky finished in a Rivesaltes cask and bottled at cask strength, 59.2%. Cask no. 802860 gave 283 bottles, and the whisky is neither chill filtered nor coloured.

Rivesaltes is made in Roussillon by adding alcohol during fermentation so that some of the grape sugar remains. That type of cask gives raisins, walnut and a dry oxidised note that sits closer to an old sherry than to ordinary red wine.

At 59.2% there is strength enough to carry both the finish and the spirit’s own fruit. Auchroisk was built in 1974 to supply malt for the J&B blend, and the lightness of the spirit leaves room for the fortified wine cask’s character.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Raisins and dried apricot first, with a clear walnut note. Vanilla and apple from the base maturation sit beneath, and there is a dry, lightly oxidised note from the wine cask.

    Palate

Powerful and concentrated. Dried fruit and walnut open, then spiced oak, a dry wine note and black pepper arrive. At 59.2% there is real strength, and the whisky takes water well.

    Finish

Long and dry. Raisins, nuts and spiced oak that hold on and leave a lightly bitter edge.

Lady of the Glen is a family-run bottling house from Fife that Gregor Hannah started in 2012, named after his great-grandmother. The house is known for experimenting with unusual finishing casks, from Rivesaltes and Marsala to Tokaji, and for bottling everything at cask strength without filtration.

    Item no.: 222225-5587

A refill hogshead gives up very little. It has been used before, the sugar layers are spent, and so it takes twenty-six years to reach where a first fill cask would have been at ten. In return, what you taste is the spirit and not the wood.

    The expert's description

Ben Nevis 1998/2025 Lady of the Glen 26 years is a Single Highland Malt Whisky matured in a refill hogshead, cask no. 176, and bottled at 43.2 % without chill filtration and without added colour.

The whisky was distilled on 11 May 1998 and bottled on 4 April 2025. The cask yielded 276 bottles, and the strength of 43.2 % is what the cask gave after twenty-six years rather than the result of dilution. That says something about how long it lay and how much evaporated along the way.

Lady of the Glen is run by Gregor Hannah under Hannah Whisky Merchants and works consistently with natural colour, no chill filtration and bottling at the strength the cask offers. It is a line that lets the character of the distillery come through, and with Ben Nevis that is precisely the point.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Tropical fruit with pineapple and passion fruit up front, then sweet malt and light pastry.

    Palate

Soft and balanced with fruity sweetness, a creamy texture and discreet spice. The low cask strength makes it remarkably easy to drink for its age.

    Finish

Long, warm and complex with fruit, malt and a last touch of oak.

High. Twenty-six years in cask, 276 bottles and a single refill hogshead is a combination that cannot be repeated. Lady of the Glen has built a steady following among single cask collectors, and their older Ben Nevis casks disappear quickly.

    Did you know?

A hogshead holds around 250 litres and is typically rebuilt from 200 litre American bourbon barrels by adding extra staves. The slightly larger volume gives a lower wood to liquid ratio, so the whisky matures more slowly.

Tawny port is an old and nutty affair — years in wood, where the fruit has dried down to fig and caramel. Let a heavy Speyside mature in one of those casks and something happens that sherry cannot deliver.

    The expert's description

Benrinnes 2013/2023 Lady of the Glen 10 years is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in a first fill Tawny Port cask and bottled at 57.8 % cask strength.

Cask no. 300746 was filled on 15 January 2013 and emptied on 14 April 2023. The release yielded 282 bottles and is neither chill filtered nor coloured.

Lady of the Glen was founded in 2012 by Gregor Hannah and is run from Fife. The house bottles single casks at cask strength only and seeks out casks from closed distilleries or casks with an unusual expression — one such as this.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Red berries, dried fig and a touch of rose petal. The port gives a sweet, almost perfumed nose sitting on top of the dryness of the malt.

    Palate

Full bodied and sweet with cherry, walnut and dark caramel. The 57.8 % brings warmth, and a clear tannin edge from the port cask runs through the middle.

    Finish

Long with dried fruit, cocoa and a lightly bitter nuttiness.

    Item no.: 22227865479-110-98

Eleven years in a first fill ex-bourbon barrel is the simplest recipe there is. No finish, no detours — just an active cask and a spirit big enough to carry it.

    The expert's description

Benrinnes 2013/2025 Lady of the Glen 11 years is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in a first fill ex-bourbon barrel and bottled at 56.4 % cask strength.

Cask no. 311808 was filled in 2013 and emptied in 2025, yielding 214 bottles. The whisky is neither chill filtered nor coloured.

Where the house's 10 year old from 2013 was given a spell in Tawny Port, this one is kept purely in bourbon wood. That makes it a rare and honest portrait of what the Benrinnes spirit looks like when nothing is trying to dress it up.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Vanilla, coconut and light honey. Behind the sweetness sit ripe pears and a hint of a warm bakery.

    Palate

Full and creamy with vanilla pod, banana and spiced oak. The 56.4 % gives a firm but rounded bite, and the texture is clearly oily.

    Finish

Long and warm with honey, oak and a sprinkle of white pepper.

Another single cask from Lady of the Glen, this time with a sherry maturation that gives an entirely different character from the house's bourbon cask releases.

    Expert's Description

Bunnahabhain 2010/2021 Lady of the Glen 10 Years Old is a Single Islay Malt Scotch Whisky from an oloroso sherry hogshead, bottled at cask strength, 58.6%.

The whisky was distilled in 2010 and bottled in January 2021 from cask #901213, where the oloroso sherry maturation has added plenty of flavour to the relatively young whisky. Only 325 bottles came from this single cask.

Like the rest of Lady of the Glen's range, it is both unfiltered and free from added colour, letting the sherry cask's full character shine through.

    Tasting Notes

    Item no.: 22227865479-1106-197278432

Most people associate Caol Ila with bourbon or sherry. Lady of the Glen chose an ex-white wine cask – and it turns out Islay smoke handles itself surprisingly well alongside the light, fresh wine residue. 307 bottles from cask no. 311196.

    Expert's description

Caol Ila 2012/2021 Lady of the Glen 9 Years is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in a single ex-white wine cask (no. 311196), bottled at cask strength 58.3% without chill filtration and with natural colour.

Lady of the Glen is an Edinburgh-based independent bottler founded by Gregor Hannah. The philosophy is single cask, cask strength and no compromises. White wine casks are unusual in whisky – lighter and fresher than sherry casks, they add a delicate fruitiness rather than vinous weight.

Nine years in a white wine cask from 2012 gives a Caol Ila that keeps its maritime smoke but adds an unexpected freshness and fruitiness. 307 bottles is all that exists.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Fresh and surprising – light citrus fruit and white flowers meet Caol Ila's salty smoke. A clear contrast between the heavy distillate and the light cask.

    Palate

Smoke and freshness in balance. Citrus, fresh pear and maritime notes with good body. The white wine cask gives unexpected lightness without removing Caol Ila's signature.

    Finish

Medium-length with fresh smoke and a clean, lightly winey note at the end. Cleaner and lighter than most Caol Ila bottlings.

    Item no.: 2222-888742

Cask 319952 leaked. Lady of the Glen discovered that when they opened the bonded warehouse in 2025 – this refill hogshead with Caol Ila from 2013 had lost a significant portion of its content to the Scottish angels. What remained was 123 bottles and the concentrated essence of eleven Islay years.

    Expert's description

Caol Ila 2013/2025 Lady of the Glen 11 Years is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in a single cask – refill hogshead (cask no. 319952) – bottled at 56.6% without chill filtration and with natural colour. 123 bottles.

Lady of the Glen is a Scottish independent bottler focusing on single-cask bottlings from carefully selected casks. The philosophy is simple: selection, not production. Each cask is assessed on its own merits, which is reflected in the small number of bottles per bottling.

A leaking cask is not a mistake – it is geology. The wood breathes, the surroundings pull, and the angels' share is never precisely predictable. The 123 remaining bottles are what it took eleven years and a particular piece of Islay air to produce.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Fresh peat smoke and seaweed, behind which a soft vanilla and citrus from the refill cask. A hint of green apple and toasted oak.

    Palate

Oily and full. Salted caramel, lemon and smoke in good harmony. The distillate's power at 56.6% gives body and depth – a drop of water opens it further.

    Finish

Long and persistent – ash, freshly ground pepper and citrus peel that slowly fade to a lightly salted close.

Rothes lost Caperdonich in 2002, and the walls came down a few years later. Only the casks remain, and there are fewer of them every year. This is one of them, pulled from the warehouse after 22 winters.

    Expert description

Caperdonich 1997/2020 Lady of the Glen 22 years is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in an ex-bourbon hogshead and bottled at cask strength of 60.5%.

The cask carries the number 19130 and was filled in 1997, five years before Chivas Brothers closed the distillery for good. Lady of the Glen, the Scottish independent bottler from Fife, bottled it in 2020 without chill filtration and without added colouring. Caperdonich was originally built as Glen Grant No. 2 and mostly made malt for blends, which is why official bottlings are scarce. Bottlers like this one keep the distillery character alive.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Dried apricot and hay first, then vanilla, coconut and a thick waxy note from the bourbon cask. Give it five minutes in the glass and baked apple and a touch of white pepper appear.

    Palate

  • Dailuaine 10 years Lady of the Glen tawny port finish bottle
    Item no.: 22227865479-33569

Tawny port has sat long enough to lose the fresh berry edge and find nuts and caramel instead. Laid over ten years of Dailuaine, the result is darker than the age suggests.

    Expert description

Dailuaine 2013/2023 Lady of the Glen 10 years is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in a refill hogshead with a subsequent tawny port finish and bottled at cask strength of 59%.

The whisky was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023 by Lady of the Glen, the Scottish independent bottler from Fife founded in 2012 by Gregor Hannah. A refill cask works more slowly than a first fill, which leaves room for the port finish to make its mark without fighting the oak. Dailuaine's heavy, malted spirit has enough body to carry both.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Dark fruit and nuts first. Dried fig, walnut and caramel, with malt and a warm spiced note underneath.

    Palate

Powerful and dense. Caramelised nuts, dried fruit and malt, with the dry edge of the port and a peppery warmth from the 59%. The texture is oily despite the young age.

Tawny port ages in cask for years and oxidises along the way, which gives nuts and caramel instead of the fresh berries you find in ruby. That is why a tawny cask often suits a whisky that already has malted weight.

Dalmunach began distilling in 2015. This bottle comes from that very first year — and six years on it is already a historic release from a distillery nobody knows yet.

    Expert description

Dalmunach 2015/2021 Lady of the Glen 6 years is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky finished in an oloroso quarter cask and bottled at cask strength of 59.6% without chill filtration and without added colouring.

The cask carries the number 22 and gave 157 bottles. Dalmunach opened in 2015 at Carron in Speyside on the site of the demolished Imperial distillery and is one of the most modern productions in Scotland. A quarter cask is only about a quarter of a normal cask, which gives far more contact between wood and spirit — an efficient way of getting cask character into a young whisky.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Dark and intense for its age. Raisin, dark chocolate and orange peel, with a young, cereal freshness under the sherry.

    Palate

Powerful and concentrated. Dried fruit, cocoa and spice, with malted cereal and a peppery warmth from the cask strength. The quarter cask has worked fast and left clear wood structure.

    Finish

Long and dry, with dark fruit, nuts and a warm spiced close.

Medium. A release from the distillery's first production year in only 157 bottles. Early vintages from new distilleries often become sought after once the house later finds its form.

    Did you know?

Dalmunach is built on the site of the Imperial distillery, demolished in 2013. The still house is laid out so that the eight pot stills stand in a formation meant to recall a sheaf of barley — an architectural nod to the grain the whole business rests on.

    Item no.: 22227865479-1106-197278435

Cask number 9711 sat maturing for 22 years before Gregor Hannah moved the contents into an oloroso cask that had just been emptied. Six months later 307 bottles were filled. A move like that can go either way — this one went the right way.

    The expert's description

Glen Grant 1998/2021 Lady of the Glen 23 Year Old is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky from a hogshead finished in an oloroso cask, bottled at cask strength 50.4%.

The spirit went into cask in 1998 and was bottled in 2021 from cask number 9711. For its final months the whisky sat in a freshly emptied oloroso hogshead, a far more aggressive form of finishing than an older sherry cask would deliver. The result is 307 bottles, non-chill filtered and with no added colour.

Lady of the Glen is run by Gregor Hannah under the name Hannah Whisky Merchants, and the whole business model is single cask. He buys individual casks, follows them closely and often adds a short finish when he judges a cask needs a nudge. Glen Grant's light, dry spirit is a rewarding starting point for exactly that, because there is room for the sherry without losing the malt.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Prunes and maple syrup first, then dark chocolate and coffee grounds. Behind that sit currants, cinnamon and a trace of old leather. Orange peel emerges after a couple of minutes.

    Palate

Deep, dry sherry rather than sweet sherry. Dark fruit, walnut and cocoa, with a firm, almost bitter edge from the cask. Underneath it all the light Glen Grant malt keeps the whisky from turning heavy.

    Finish

Long. Dark chocolate, dried figs and tobacco ebbing slowly into a dryness of oak and cinnamon.

Medium. A 23 year old single cask in 307 bottles cannot be repeated, and Glen Grant at that age from independent bottlers is growing steadily scarcer. The combination of high age, cask strength and a documented cask number is what collectors look for.

    Did you know?

Lady of the Glen sells its casks as casks — Gregor Hannah routinely puts the cask number, fill date and bottling date openly on the label. It is a level of transparency many larger houses still hold back.

One cask, no finish, no detour. Lady of the Glen is otherwise known for giving casks a final push in sherry or port, but here number 5586 was left alone for twelve years. 214 bottles, and that was that.

    The expert's description

Glen Moray 2008/2021 Lady of the Glen 12 Year Old is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky from a single 1st fill bourbon barrel, bottled at cask strength 57.1%.

The cask was filled in 2008 and emptied in 2021 — bourbon barrel number 5586, which gave 214 bottles, non-chill filtered and with no added colour. A 1st fill cask at twelve years is a tight combination: the wood still has plenty to give, and the age is just long enough for it to come together rather than stay raw.

Glen Moray in Elgin is one of the higher-output distilleries in Speyside, and a large share of the spirit ends up in blends. That is exactly why single cask bottlings from independent bottlers are one of the better ways to meet the spirit without colouring and filtration — you get what the cask made, not what a blender decided.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Vanilla and coconut first, classic 1st fill bourbon. Behind that sit green apple, pear and a trace of lemon peel, plus a warm note of freshly baked cake.

    Palate

Powerful and sweet without being cloying. Honey, vanilla and apple, with coconut and a touch of white pepper that the cask strength pushes forward. Cereal malt sits underneath and holds it in place.

    Finish

Long and warm. Vanilla and pear giving way slowly to a dry, spiced American oak close.

  • Glen Scotia Lady of the Glen bottle with red-gold port-tinted whisky
    Item no.: 222225-5585

Eight years is young for a Campbeltown. The spirit is still raw at the edges, the salt stands out sharply, and there are not many years of oak to soften anything. Then Lady of the Glen moved the cask into tawny port, and suddenly the youth made sense.

    The expert's description

Glen Scotia 2016/2025 Lady of the Glen 8 Year Old is a Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky finished in an ex-tawny port cask and bottled at cask strength 56.5%.

The whisky was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2025 from cask number 8924, which gave 231 bottles, non-chill filtered and with no added colour. The choice of tawny over ruby is worth noting: tawny port has spent a long time in wood and is oxidative, nutty and drier, where ruby is fresh and berry-sweet. That suits a young, salty spirit better, because it adds depth rather than sweetness.

Lady of the Glen is run by Gregor Hannah and buys individual casks from across Scotland. The firm always bottles at cask strength, unfiltered and uncoloured, and it often goes for younger casks where there is still distillery to taste. An eight year old Glen Scotia is exactly the kind of cask the larger houses would typically have left alone for longer.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Sea salt and seaweed meet red fruit and dried berries. The port lays a nutty sweetness on top, and there is a trace of dark chocolate beneath it all.

    Palate

Full and intense. Dark fruit, spiced oak and chocolate, carried by a lightly oily texture. The cask strength pushes the salt forward, so the sweetness is never allowed to take over.

    Finish

Long and warm. Balanced sweetness with maritime nuances and a final touch of spice.

  • Glen Spey Lady of the Glen 10 year Banyuls Cask Speyside Single Malt Whisky
    Item no.: 059763-615-1078

Deep in Speyside, at a distillery most people only know as a contributor to J&B, a single cask quietly aged for over a decade. Distilled in December 2012, finished in an ex-Banyuls cask — a rare fortified wine from the southern French borderlands — and bottled at full cask strength for Lady of the Glen. 295 bottles. That is all there is.

    Expert's description

Glen Spey 2012/2023 Lady of the Glen 10 year is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in a hogshead and finished in an ex-Banyuls cask, bottled at cask strength 58.4% by Lady of the Glen. Glen Spey distillery in Rothes is one of Diageo's most understated gems. Founded in 1878 by grain merchant James Stuart, sold to W. & A. Gilbey in 1887 as the first Scottish distillery to come into English ownership, and since then primarily used for blending — J&B is its principal customer. The characteristic purifiers on the spirit stills create a light, floral and delicate spirit. Lady of the Glen (Hannah Whisky Merchants) is an independent bottler founded by Gregor Hannah, specialising in single cask bottlings at natural strength, without colouring or chill filtration.

This bottling rested in a hogshead with a finishing period in an ex-Banyuls cask — Banyuls is a sweet, oxidative dessert wine from Roussillon in southern France, related to tawny port. It lends the light Glen Spey character a layer of dried fruit, spice and a gentle vinous depth rarely seen from this distillery. Bottled on 5 April 2023 after precisely 10 years and 4 months — 295 hand-numbered bottles.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Spiced apple and dried flowers open first, followed by flaked almonds, orange peel and red grapes from the Banyuls cask. Beneath it all, a light malty sweetness and a trace of vanilla.

    Palate

Vanilla and freshly baked strudel with gingerbread and cooked berries. The high cask strength of 58.4% delivers a powerful punch that opens beautifully with a single drop of water.

    Finish

Long and spicy with candied orange and white chocolate. The Banyuls cask leaves a gentle, vinous roundness deep into the finish.

Banyuls wines are made from Grenache grapes and deliberately oxidised during ageing — much like tawny port. This Roussillon process gave this Glen Spey cask its distinctive depth of dried fruit and spice.

    Item no.: 22227865478-78963

Lady of the Glen sticks to one simple rule: casks from silent distilleries, or rare, tightly limited parcels. This Glenlossie is another reason the Scottish bottler has built such a following among collectors in recent years.

    Expert's Description

Glenlossie 10 Year Old Lady of the Glen is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky bottled at full cask strength, 56.6%.

Distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023 by the independent bottler Lady of the Glen, run by Hannah Whisky Merchants, the whisky comes from a single cask, No. 5308, a refill hogshead finished in an ex ruby port cask. Lady of the Glen always bottles single cask, non-chill filtered and with no added colour, so what lands in the glass is the whisky exactly as the cask left it.

Glenlossie rarely appears as a standalone single malt, since most of its output feeds blends such as Haig's and Dimple – every independent Glenlossie release is a small look behind that curtain.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Ripe red berries and a touch of port-wine sweetness sit over Glenlossie's cereal base. There's a hint of dried apricot and a light, spiced warmth from the high strength.

    Palate

Full and powerful, with red-wine berries, caramel and a clear cask-strength bite. The malt still comes through, carried by a faintly sweet, wine-toned note from the port cask.

    Finish

Long and warm, with lingering berry and spice notes that slowly settle into a dry, faintly tannic finish.

Lady of the Glen is proud to present the limited Samhain Series: Six Single-Cask Whiskies Celebrating Scotland's Eerie and Mythical Past

Samhain Series – a limited release of six single-cask Scotch whiskies. The series celebrates Scotland’s rich folklore and eerie mythology, coinciding with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, the precursor to modern Halloween.

Each whisky in the Samhain Series tells a story through local legends, with atmospheric labels designed by Edinburgh-based artist and designer Steven Shand, who has over 13 years of experience in the Scottish whisky industry. Shand’s intricate artwork and storytelling complement the atmospheric whiskies and capture a haunting essence of Scotland’s past.

The six releases include: ● 'Grizel & The West Bow Saint' – North British Distillery Single Grain Scotch Whisky 30 Year Old, Refill Peated Octave, limited to 57 bottles. 46%

    ● 'Hunting For The Gorbals Vampire' – Glasgow Distillery Lowland Single Malt Scotch 5 Year Old, Refill Octave, limited to 62 bottles. 58.6%

    ● 'The Devil Checkmates the Wolf' – Auchroisk Distillery Speyside Single Malt Scotch 10 Year Old, 1st fill ex PX Octave, limited to 62 bottles. 60.8%

    ● 'The Each Uisge of the River Spey' – Benrinnes Distillery Speyside Single Malt Scotch 10 Year Old, 1st fill ex PX Octave, limited to 55 bottles. 50.8%

    ● 'The Ritual of Oak & Mistletoe' – Teaninich Distillery Highland Single Malt Scotch 10 Year Old, 1st fill ex PX Octave, limited to 46 bottles. 51.1%

    ● 'The Witch of Beinne A’Ghlo' – Blair Athol Distillery Highland Single Malt Scotch 10 Year Old, Refill Octave, limited to 53 bottles. 58.6%

Each bottle is sourced from distilleries in the Speyside, Highland, and Lowland regions. As with all Lady of the Glen releases, the Samhain Series is hand-bottled, undiluted at natural cask strength, free of chill-filtration, and retains its natural color, preserving the purity of the whisky.

Lady of the Glen has wanted to collaborate with Steven since they saw his contemporary illustration of Tam O’Shanter at the Fife Whisky Festival. His use of color and detail was both a feast for the eyes and unsettling in a good way. They decided to celebrate Scotland’s Samhain festival by pairing richly illustrated Scottish stories with distilleries from the same regions. For the series, they selected some of their finest 40-liter octaves to highlight a wide range of rich flavors that would stand out just like the stories themselves.

About Lady of the Glen Whisky

Lady of the Glen is an independent bottler with one of the most recognisable visual identities in the industry, the wild purple flowers gracing the labels are drawn directly from the Scottish landscape. Behind that poetic exterior lies a serious approach to selection: whiskies are hand-picked from a wide range of Scottish distilleries, and casks are imported from some of the best bodegas, wine merchants and coopers in the trade. For collectors it's precisely that pairing of the right cask with the right whisky that makes Lady of the Glen worth watching, while beginners can be drawn in by the striking visuals and discover the substance behind them.

History & background

The company was founded in 2012 by Gregor Hannah, then just 27 years old, making him one of the industry's youngest independent bottlers. The name Lady of the Glen honours "the Green Lady", one of the many ghosts said to haunt the famous Stirling Castle. Despite its youth as a company, Lady of the Glen has quickly built a solid reputation among whisky collectors for its ability to find casks that genuinely stand out.

Production & style

Lady of the Glen doesn't distil itself but selects single casks from distilleries across Scotland and imports a broad range of cask types from international bodegas and wine houses to give each whisky the most interesting finish. Every release is Single Cask and bottled at full Cask Strength, which naturally means a limited number of bottles per release.

Signature style

Hand-picked, Cask Strength, Scarce
Flavour varies entirely cask to cask, but the recurring trait is intensity and a clear, undisturbed distillery character.

Collector angle

Because every release comes from a single cask at full cask strength, bottle counts are naturally low, and many Lady of the Glen releases sell out quickly among the most dedicated collectors.

Did you know?

The name refers to "the Green Lady", one of the most talked-about ghosts at Stirling Castle, and the purple flowers on the labels are a deliberate counterpart, tying the legend to the Scottish landscape the whisky comes from.
