Glentauchers 2013/2023 from Lady of the Glen was distilled on 21 March 2013 and bottled on 17 April 2023, after 10 years of maturation in a refill ex-Pedro Ximenez cask, Cask No. #800466.
The whisky is bottled at cask strength, 58.9%, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour. Only 265 bottles exist of this limited edition release.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Raisin sweetness, dark chocolate and a hint of dried fig.
Palate
Full-bodied and sweet, with sultana, caramel and a warm PX spice.
Finish
Long, sweet and warming, with lingering notes of dried fruit.
