Only 179 bottles carry this name. Ten years in a hogshead, finished in a small Madeira quarter cask, have given this Teaninich an intense fruitiness rarely found in such a young bottling.

    Expert description

Teaninich 2014/2025 from Lady of the Glen is a 10 year old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky at 53%, bottled from a single cask by Scottish independent bottler Lady of the Glen.

Lady of the Glen is known for its exclusive, non-chill filtered cask strength bottlings. This Teaninich (cask no. 713240) matured in a hogshead finished in a Madeira quarter cask - a small cask that previously held the Portuguese fortified wine Madeira, which accelerates maturation and adds sweet fruitiness and depth.

Distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025 after 10 years of maturation, the whisky is non-chill filtered with no added colouring. Only 179 bottles of this single cask edition were released.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Dried apricot and raisin, with a hint of toasted almond and a delicate floral note.

    Palate

Powerful and fruit-driven, with notes of stewed cherry, spice and a warm, almost compote-like sweetness.

    Finish

Long and lightly tannic, closing on a note of dark fruit and toasted oak.
