The 100% Islay series is unique even by Kilchoman's own standards: the barley is grown on the distillery's own land, floor malted on site, and distilled, matured and bottled without ever leaving the farm. That makes the series a genuine "Single Farm Single Malt" — a rarity in the whisky world as a whole. 4th Release is built from selected 5 year old first fill and refill bourbon casks from the distillery's own warehouse.
Because the barley here is more lightly peated than the malt Kilchoman normally buys in for its other releases, the 100% Islay series carries a different, more floral and delicate character than, say, Machir Bay — the smoke is still there, but it acts more as an undercurrent than a lead role.

With its high proportion of first fill casks, the whisky carries a noticeably sweeter, more wood-driven character than many of the early seasonal releases, while Kilchoman's characteristic citrus-fresh peat smoke remains clearly present.

Sanaig was developed as a counterpoint to Machir Bay: where the flagship rests mainly on bourbon casks, Sanaig is built from a majority of oloroso sherry casks, giving it a deeper, darker and spicier profile. The sherry casks come from Miguel Martin in Jerez, the same supplier that also provides casks to Glenfarclas.
The result is a whisky that holds on to Kilchoman's citrus-fresh signature smoke, but lets it play alongside caramel, dried fruit and a distinct sherry sweetness — a balance that has made Sanaig a fixed point in the distillery's core range.

Linkwood 2013 from Signatory Vintage is a young but impressively harmonious Speyside whisky, bottled in the well‑known Orange Tube series. After 9 years in a combination of first fill and second fill Oloroso sherry butts, the whisky has developed a deep, fruit‑driven character with warm spices and a natural sweetness that suits Linkwood’s elegant spirit.

On the nose, you’re met with dark fruits, raisins, prunes and red berries, followed by nuts, light chocolate and a soft sherry richness. The palate is rounded and silky at 43%, with notes of dried fruit, caramel, spiced oak and a gentle vinous warmth from the Oloroso cask. The finish is pleasantly long with hints of cocoa, nuts and a light dryness that brings balance.

The whisky is bottled un‑chillfiltered and natural colour, allowing every nuance to appear clean and unaltered – exactly as Signatory intends in this series.

Macallan was one of the first distilleries to systematically use 100% sherry casks for maturation, and the 12 Year Old Sherry Oak is the core expression of that tradition. The oak casks are produced in Spain, seasoned with Oloroso sherry before being sent to Macallan, and give the whisky its characteristic dried fruit, warm spices and silky smooth structure.
12 years is the classic age, and this is where Macallan's DNA is most clearly expressed. Not too young to have edges, not too old to have freshness.

Mackmyra Skördetid is a Swedish Single Malt Whisky partly matured in Italian Masi Costasera Amarone casks and bottled at 46.1%.

The name Overaged nods to the house's core idea: Scotch malt given extra, extended maturation in Burgundy, following Michel Couvreur's fresh filling method, where sherry casks are refilled with whisky the same day they're emptied of sherry. The result is a whisky that feels older and more rounded than its years on paper suggest.
Michel Couvreur was uncompromising in a way few producers are. He selected young Scotch whisky himself, then insisted on deciding when it was ready to travel on to his cellars in Bouze-lès-Beaune, where the humidity and cool vaulted rooms did the rest of the work.
