Glenallachie 15 Years is another masterpiece from Billy Walkers hand.
When he took over the distillery in 2017, he faced a huge task of creating a core orange that would show both Walkers influence, but also the DNA of the distillery. He's certainly succeeded with the Glenallachie 15 year old. It has an incredibly beautiful and deep reddish-brown color, which has a glow similar to that of a sunset on a late summer evening.

The nose has notes of butterscotch, Christmas spice and raisin. On the palate, the familiar sherry sweetness emerges and enchants with notes of the same Christmas spices we found in the nose, but also banana, orange peel, and dark slightly bitter chocolate. A worthy and powerful dram.

GlenAllachie 8 Year Old Dràm Mòr is an exclusive single malt whisky from the GlenAllachie distillery in the Speyside region, bottled at cask strength of 53.8% ABV. Distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2024, this whisky was finished in a first-fill PX sherry butt, resulting in a limited release of only 194 bottles.
The nose offers delicate, sweet dark fruits with notes of raisins, stewed plums, and lightly toasted honey. The palate is rich and spiced with flavors of sticky ginger cake and a generous helping of Christmas spices. The finish is warming, long-lasting, and tingles from the tips of your toes to the top of your head.
