About Myken Destilleri Gin

Myken Distillery is located on the remote island of Myken off the Norwegian coast, where a tiny permanent population and a rugged climate shape the distillery's approach to production. History & Background

Myken Distillery was established on the island of the same name in an effort to bring new life and livelihood to one of Norway's most remote communities, where the permanent population can be counted in double digits. Whisky became the distillery's first and best-known product, but gin quickly followed as a natural extension, built on local herbs and plants from the island's rugged nature. Today Myken is one of the most talked-about Nordic micro-distilleries, precisely because of its extreme location.
