  Glen Andrew is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky with clear sherry influence, bottled at 40%.

  The whisky comes from an undisclosed Highland distillery. It is an entirely ordinary arrangement where a distillery sells casks on without wanting its name on the label, and the buyer bottles them under a brand name of their own.

  The result is an approachable and uncomplicated single malt that has become a standing recommendation for anyone finding their way into the style. There is no smoke and there are no sharp edges, and 40% means it asks for neither water nor practice. The colour is deep gold and the sherry influence runs all the way through.

  Nose

  Baked apple and caramel first, with floral undertones and a lightly nutty sherry note behind.

  WhistlePig Farmstock Batch 003 Rye Whiskey is a blend of rye whiskey from different ageing periods, bottled at 43%. WhistlePig was founded by Dave Pickerell, former master distiller at Maker's Mark and often called the 'godfather of craft distilling', who bought an old dairy farm in Shoreham, Vermont, in 2007. Pickerell took a bold gamble by investing in 10-year-old rye whiskey from an undisclosed Canadian distillery, made from 100% rye, at a time when rye whiskey had not yet been rediscovered by the American market. The distillery officially opened in 2015 in a renovated 150-year-old barn and is today the world's most awarded producer of rye whiskey.

  Glen Spey 2010/2021 Signatory Vintage 10 year is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in 1st use hogsheads, bottled at 46% non-chill filtered exclusively for the Danish market. Glen Spey in Rothes is a distillery that rarely steps forward as a soloist. Founded in 1878 by James Stuart and sold to W. & A. Gilbey in 1887. Today owned by Diageo and primarily a supplier to the J&B blend. The distinctive purifiers on the spirit stills produce a light, floral and delicate spirit.

  Signatory Vintage from Pitlochry is one of Scotland's most respected independent bottlers. Their Un-Chillfiltered Collection sets the standard: always at least 46% ABV, no chill filtration, no added colouring. This bottling was distilled on 16 September 2010 and matured in two 1st use hogsheads (#804786 and #804792), bottled on 31 May 2021. Exclusively for the Danish market.

  Tasting notes

  Nose

  Fresh lemon zest and light floral tones combined with creamy vanilla and gently spiced oak. A delicate underlying maltiness.

  Palate

  Creamy and lightly oily texture — precisely because chill filtration was omitted. Fresh pears, strawberries and ripe bananas. Liquorice notes emerge. The 46% gives a pleasant bite without overwhelming the fruit.

  Finish

  Long and fruity. Bananas and pears linger slowly with a hint of soft oak.

  Togouchi 18 Year Old is a Japanese Blended Whisky, bottled at 43.8%.

  The whisky comes from Sakurao Brewery and Distillery (formerly Chugoku Jozo), which has blended and matured whisky under the Togouchi name since 1990. What sets Togouchi apart is its ageing: part of the whisky matures in an abandoned railway tunnel with a constant temperature of 14°C and 80% humidity - conditions that produce an unusually soft, rounded maturation.
