Same Taiwanese distillery, this time with the deep colour and spice of Spanish sherry casks.

    Expert description

Omar Sherry Cask is a Taiwanese Single Malt Whisky matured in sherry casks. The whisky comes from Nantou in central Taiwan, where the subtropical climate with high humidity drives far more intense maturation than in traditional whisky regions. The Sherry Cask expression draws its character from Spanish sherry casks, which lend the whisky deeper colour and a spicier, fruitier profile compared to the bourbon cask expression.
