  Årø Vingård Æblesnaps Dansk Snaps is a Danish fruit snaps at 35% ABV from Årø Vingård.

  Årø Vingård is located on the island of Årø in the Little Belt near Haderslev and, alongside its winemaking, runs its own small distillery. The apple snaps is made here from crab apples grown in the vineyard's own orchard, distilled into a fruit snaps with a clear apple character.

  With more than 1,200 apple trees, Årø Vingård has plenty of fruit for cider, apple wine and snaps, and the apple snaps is one of the spirits that draws on this part of the production.

  Tasting Notes

  Nose

  Fresh apple aroma with a hint of sweetness, reminiscent of ripe crab apples.

  Palate

  Round apple flavour with a light tartness and a distinct fruitiness.

  Finish

  Short to medium, fresh, with the apple's acidity as the last impression.
