    Item no.: 22227865449-7045

Miltonduff 1982/2023 Adelphi Limited 40 Year Old Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky 70 cl 50.4%

Miltonduff 40 Year Old – Adelphi Limited Edition is a remarkable single malt Scotch whisky from the Speyside region of Scotland. It was distilled at the Miltonduff distillery and bottled by the independent bottler Adelphi, known for its uncompromising approach to quality and cask selection. The whisky was distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2023, giving it an impressive age of 40 years. It is bottled at cask strength, 50.4%, preserving its natural intensity and complexity. Only 224 bottles were released, making it an extremely rare and sought-after edition among collectors and enthusiasts.

This whisky was matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead, a type of cask that contributes deep and complex flavor notes. The color is pale gold, reflecting both its long maturation and the influence of the sherry cask. On the nose, it reveals mineral tones, paraffin, and oily lemon, creating an elegant and slightly old-fashioned aroma that speaks to its age and finesse.

The palate is rich and layered with notes of stewed fruits, citrus zest, and overripe figs, offering a sweet and fruity profile. Green malt spice adds a fresh and herbal dimension, while a hint of bitterness balances the whole and adds depth. The finish is long and complex with floral notes of gorse blossom, a warm spicy touch of ginger, and a hint of white pepper, providing a lively conclusion.

The mouthfeel is velvety and refined, with a harmonious blend of ripe fruits, cream, citrus, and almond. The extended maturation has rounded all elements and created a whisky of great elegance and character.

  • Bottle of Springbank Local Barley 10 Year Old 2022 from Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown
    Item no.: 22227865479-1106-197280036

Local Barley is Springbank's tribute to the ground the whisky comes from - barley grown right in the Campbeltown area, rather than the standardised grain most distilleries use.

    Expert Description

Springbank Local Barley 10 Year Old 2022 Edition is a Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled from locally grown barley and bottled at full cask strength, 51.6%.

The Local Barley range is one of Springbank's most sought-after, because it uses barley grown specifically in the area surrounding Campbeltown, unlike the distillery's standard releases. Only a very limited quantity has reached the Danish market, and the whisky is bottled without filtration or added colour, so everything the ground and the cask have given it remains in the glass.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Fresh barley and a light earthiness meet a sweetness of honey and ripe apples, with a hint of sea salt behind it.

    Palate

Bold and cereal-driven, with notes of caramel and a lightly oily structure that carries the high strength well.

    Finish

Long and lightly spiced, with a lingering sweetness that slowly gives way to a dry, salty close.

  • Bottle of Springbank 30 Year Old 2022 Release from Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown
    Item no.: 222255555444478-1

Some whisky you buy. Some you pass down. Springbank 30 Year Old belongs to the second kind - a bottle that waited quietly in cask while three decades passed outside the warehouse walls in Campbeltown.

    Expert Description

Springbank 30 Year Old 2022 Release is a Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled in 1992, matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and bottled at 46%.

This whisky sits at the oldest end of the distillery's core range, and the 2022 release draws on a cask makeup of roughly 85% ex-bourbon and 15% ex-sherry casks. Three decades in wood have brought a depth and roundness that only comes with time, layered on top of Springbank's signature 2.5 times distillation, which gives the whisky its oily, complex style.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

Dried apricot and beeswax arrive first, followed by old oak and a touch of salted caramel.

    Palate

Full and oily with layers of honey, toasted almonds and a dark, dry sherry note that ties it all together.

    Finish

Long and dry, with a final hint of sea air and old oak lingering well after the last sip.

  • The GlenAllachie 1990 35 Year Old by Billy Walker
    Item no.: 22244-987455

Some bottles are a whisky. This one is a piece of distillery history, wrapped in handcrafted woodwork and built around four cask types, one of which is rare enough that it barely exists in any other Scotch distillery's stock. The GlenAllachie 1990 Billy Walker spent 35 years on its way to the bottle, and it shows in every single measure.

    Expert's description

The GlenAllachie 1990 Billy Walker is a 35 year old Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky, matured across four different cask types and bottled at cask strength of 50.2%.

The name GlenAllachie derives from the Gaelic for "valley of the rocks," and this release is one of the most ambitious and luxurious the distillery has ever put its name to. The whisky spent its 35 years split across Mizunara virgin oak, American virgin oak, Oloroso Sherry and Pedro Ximénez Sherry - a combination that demands both patience and a sharp sense of when each individual cask has given its best.

The Mizunara oak comes from trees around 200 years old and is used extremely rarely in Scotch whisky production, owing to its scarcity and the particular demands the wood places during processing. Combined with two sherry casks and American virgin oak, the result is a whisky with an intense, rich mahogany colour and a depth that matches its age in full.

The whisky is both non-chill filtered and free of added colour, presented in its most original form.

    Tasting notes

    Nose

Mocha and crystallised cinnamon meet treacle tart, cocoa and toasted hazelnuts, with pineapple, ginger and heather honey lingering in the background.

    Palate

Cocoa and baking spice unfold alongside chocolate-coated raisins, coconut and brandied fruits, underpinned by sandalwood and vanilla.

    Finish

Long and rich, with dried red fruits and a lingering sweetness of honeycomb that stays with you long after the last measure.

    Investment potential

High. With 35 years behind it, an extremely rare Mizunara maturation and a handcrafted wooden box, this is the distillery's most ambitious bottling - a whisky that speaks directly to the serious collector rather than everyday drinking.

    Did you know?

The bottle arrives in a bespoke, handcrafted wooden box inspired by the character of Mizunara wood and traditional Japanese Kumiko woodworking. The box is decorated with four different geometric patterns, one for each of the four cask types the whisky was matured in - a craft that matches the whisky's own complexity.

  • Whyte & Mackay 21 Year & 12 Year Tantalus Set Blended Scotch Whisky 2 x 37.5 cl 40%
    Item no.: 222333-858879

    Whyte & Mackay 21 Year & 12 Year Tantalus Set Blended Scotch Whisky 2 x 37.5 cl 40%

Whyte & Mackay 21 Year & 12 Year Tantalus Set Blended Scotch Whisky 2 x 37.5 cl is a luxurious set that combines two iconic expressions from the traditional blended whisky brand Whyte & Mackay. Delivered in an elegant tantalus presentation, this set is both a beautiful collector's item and an opportunity to experience two different ages of the same house’s rich and sophisticated style.

Whyte & Mackay 21 Year Old
This 21-year-old edition is crafted with the characteristic double maturation method that Whyte & Mackay has refined through generations. First, the individual malt and grain whiskies are matured separately for many years. Then they are blended and matured once more together – a process that creates remarkable depth, smoothness, and harmony in the final result, perfected by Richard Patterson, their Master Blender.

The whisky opens with aromas of ripe fruit, especially pear and dried apricots, elegantly balanced by sweet toffee and toasted oak. A discreet touch of orange peel adds freshness to the nose and invites further exploration. On the palate, it is silky and full-bodied, with warm notes of dark chocolate and vanilla merging with dried fruit and spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. The balance of sweetness and spice creates a layered and complex profile that evolves gradually.

The finish is long, rounded, and elegant, leaving behind a pleasant warmth with lingering notes of sweetness, wood, and a subtle hint of dry smoke. Whyte & Mackay 21 Year Old is not just a whisky – it is a celebration of Scottish blending craftsmanship and an ideal choice for special occasions or as a gift for the discerning whisky lover. Best enjoyed neat in a tulip glass, where its full range of nuances can unfold.

Whyte & Mackay 12 Year Old
The 12-year-old version presents the house style in a more approachable form. Here, one finds a rounded and rich flavor profile with honey, vanilla, orange peel, and gentle spices, supported by light sherry notes and soft oak. It is fresher and lighter than the 21-year-old expression, yet still carries the distinctive depth and balance that Whyte & Mackay is known for.

    Tantalus Presentation
Both bottles (2 x 37.5 cl) are delivered in an exclusive tantalus – a classic design originally created to securely store fine spirits. This makes the set both a decorative and functional collector’s piece, perfect for display in any whisky collection.

Whyte & Mackay 21 & 12 Year Old Tantalus Set is an ideal choice for collectors, connoisseurs, or as a gift for a whisky enthusiast who wishes to experience both the mature elegance and the vibrant youth within Whyte & Mackay’s blending tradition.

    Item no.: 22227865403-18

Suntory Yamazaki 18 Year Old – discontinued version with yellow banderole

Yamazaki 18 Years is one of the most acclaimed and award‑winning Japanese single malts – a clear demonstration of what Japanese whisky can achieve at the highest level. This edition is silky, deeply complex and perfectly balanced between fruit, dark flavours and refined cask influence.

The aroma opens with rich sherry and raisins, followed by dark maraschino cherries and creamy coffee chocolate. The layers unfold slowly, revealing depth, warmth and a striking elegance.

The palate is full‑bodied and intense with notes of dark chocolate, rum‑and‑raisin, caramel and roasted coffee beans. The signature Yamazaki softness ties everything together, while mizunara oak and sherry casks contribute depth, spice and a subtle, smoke‑free warmth.

The finish is long, dark and refined with lingering chocolate, dried fruit and warm oak tones.

The Yamazaki distillery is located on the outskirts of the ancient capital Kyoto, where pure spring water and a moderate climate create ideal conditions for whisky production. The method is based on traditional Scottish double distillation, but the Japanese have added their own innovations – including the use of rare Japanese mizunara oak casks, which impart a unique oriental spice character.
