Silvio Carta Liqu Licoirce is an Italian licorice liqueur at 23% ABV from Sardinia, made by the spirits house Silvio Carta.

Silvio Carta has been making wine, liqueurs and distillates from natural Sardinian raw materials, herbs, essences and botanicals since 1970, and the licorice liqueur is one of the house's most characterful products, built around the dark, bittersweet licorice root.

Taste

The nose is deep and dark with pure licorice root, and the palate follows with a bittersweet, earthy licorice character that is far more authentic and less sugary than many commercial licorice liqueurs. The finish is long, dry and persistently bittersweet.
