Named after the San Blas archipelago off Panama's Caribbean coast, this 12 year old solera edition adds an extra layer of depth to the series' foundational profile.

    Expert Description

Ron Cueva 1501 San Blas Exclusiva 12 Solera is a Panama Rum aged via the solera method for a minimum of 12 years and bottled at 40%.

The rum is produced by Ron Cueva 1501 and named after the San Blas archipelago, home to Panama's Guna people and known for its turquoise waters along the Caribbean coast. Compared to the house's Sistema 8, four additional years of solera ageing add a more pronounced depth and complexity, while the foundational, approachable style from 100% molasses in the Spanish tradition is retained.

The result is a fuller, more complex rum, where caramel and dried fruit meet a warm, spiced finish.
