The rum is part of Ron Dos Mares' XO Collection and is produced by Varela Hermanos at Hacienda San Isidro in Panama, the same company behind Ron Abuelo. The base rum is column distilled from molasses and aged for a minimum of 10 years, before completing its maturation in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which add an elegant, fruit-laden depth. The name refers to the glowing crystal jellyfish, symbolising the rum's clear, elegant character.
The result is a soft, fruity rum, where sherry-toned raisin and fig meet a light, balanced finish.
