Lustau Amontillado Escuadrilla is an Amontillado Sherry from Jerez, Spain, with an alcohol content of 18.5%. Amontillado starts life as a biologically aged Fino under protective flor, but at some point transitions to oxidative ageing when the flor dies or is removed, giving the style its characteristic dual nature. Escuadrilla combines exactly this Oloroso fullness with Fino freshness, making it an accessible yet still complex Amontillado from Bodegas Lustau.
