This year marks 150 years since the only major golf tournament outside the USA, the The Open Championship, was played for the first time. Every year the tournament is played on the best golf courses in England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. This year, the playoff will be played at the mother of all golf courses - St. Andrews in Scotland.The Open Special Edition 2022 has been created in collaboration with former golfer Colin Montgomerie to celebrate the 150th anniversary of St. Andrews Golf Course. The whisky is aged in American oak casks followed by a lovely long finish in Claret red wine casks. This gives a unique character with lots of sweet red fruit, creamy fudge sweetness and oak spice. Extremely delicate and friendly.
