St Andrews is the home of golf, and when The Open celebrated its 150th anniversary there, Loch Lomond marked it with a bottle created alongside golf legend Colin Montgomerie. Bordeaux casks give it a colour all its own.

    Expert's Description

Loch Lomond 150th Open Special Edition 2022 is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in American oak with a Bordeaux cask finish and bottled at 46%.

The whisky was created by Master Blender Michael Henry together with golf ambassador Colin Montgomerie to celebrate The Open's 150th anniversary at St Andrews. After maturing in American oak, the whisky is given a final finish in Bordeaux red wine casks, adding an extra layer of fruit. The whisky is non-chill filtered.
