Kentucky Owl Batch No. 11 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is part of the brand's numbered batch series, blended from selected Kentucky bourbons, bottled at cask strength, 59.4%. Kentucky Owl was founded by distiller Charles Mortimer Dedman in 1879, but lost its inventory when authorities seized the family's whiskey stock shortly before Prohibition in 1916. The brand lay dormant for nearly a century, until Dedman's descendant Dixon Dedman revived it in 2014, rebuilding Kentucky Owl around carefully selected and blended Kentucky whiskeys. In 2017, the family sold the brand to spirits company Stoli Group.
