Inchmoan 12 Year Old is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in oak casks and bottled at 46%.

The whisky is distilled from peated malt measured at around 50 ppm and represents the distillery's smoky, earthy style – softer and less medicinal than a typical Islay malt. After 12 years in cask the whisky is non-chill filtered, preserving its full, oily body.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Mint leaf and charred wood meet dark caramel, dried apple, heather honey and a gentle, slightly medicinal peat.

Palate

Spicy with black pepper and cinnamon, balanced by layers of toffee, drying oak and an earthy, damp moss note.

Finish

Long finish of sweet fruit, green grass, black pepper and a touch of citrus.
