Fary Lochan Distillery was founded on 18 December 2009 by Jens-Erik Jørgensen near Farre close to Give in central Jutland. The blackcurrant liqueur is made with a balance of fresh Danish blackcurrants, fine spirit and a touch of sugar that highlights the natural berry nuances without overpowering them. The liqueur won the People's Choice Award at "Sol over Gudhjem" in 2023, where its fresh flavour and pleasant balance of acidity and sweetness were praised.
