Arcturus is the brightest star in the northern sky, and that's also the level of ambition Domaine Begude aims for with the estate's most oak-driven Chardonnay.
Expert's Description
Domaine Begude Chardonnay Arcturus 2016 is a White Wine from Limoux, France made from 100% Chardonnay, bottled at 13.5% ABV.
Arcturus is the estate's most ambitious Chardonnay, aged for 12 months in 600-litre French demi-muid casks, giving it a more pronounced oak influence than the estate's other Chardonnay cuvées. With several more years now in bottle, the 2016 vintage has developed a fine complexity and a full, almost opulent character.
