Bowmore Devil’s Cask Small Batch Release II is the second release in the legendary Devil’s Casks series – one of the most sought‑after sherry bombs from Islay. Released in 2014, it was, like Batch I, quickly snapped up by collectors and enthusiasts.

The whisky has been matured for 10 years in a combination of first‑fill Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, giving it an exceptionally deep, dark and intense flavour profile. Bottled at 56.3%, it delivers a powerful, concentrated experience where Bowmore’s smoky and maritime DNA meets massive sherry sweetness.

The nose offers dark fruits, raisins, dates, burnt sugar and dark chocolate, followed by warm, spicy smoke. The palate is rich and intense with layers of dried fruit, cocoa, caramel, espresso and a deep, oily sweetness balanced by Bowmore’s characteristic peat smoke and sea salt. The finish is long, dark and powerful – a true sherry bomb with Islay character.

Batch II is regarded by many as one of the most harmonious releases in the series and stands today as a modern classic in Bowmore’s history.
