Behind the brand stands the House of Angostura in Trinidad and Tobago, founded by the German-trained doctor Johann Gottlieb Benjamin Siegert, who in 1824 created the house's first secret herbal blend at a military hospital in the city of Angostura. The Orange edition builds on that legacy with two delicate citrus extracts giving a vibrant taste of Caribbean oranges, combined with the original balance of herbs and spices. The result is a light, citrus-driven bitter meant as a perfect mixer for tropical cocktails and culinary experiments.
