The set includes Writers Tears Copper Pot, matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks and bottled at 40%. The palate is gently spiced with a hint of ginger and caramel, notes of toasted oak, and a long, elegant finish. It also includes Writers Tears Cask Strength, an exceptional marriage of Single Pot Still and Single Malt Irish Whiskey, selected each year by Founder and Master Distiller Bernard Walsh from a handful of casks – triple distilled, non-chill filtered and bottled at a full 53%. Finally, the set includes Writers Double Oak, a blend of Single Pot Still and Single Malt whiskey, matured in both ex-bourbon casks from Kentucky and French cognac casks, triple distilled, non-chill filtered and bottled at 46%.
