XO is the most intense expression of the solera at Ron Esclavo, where the mahogany-coloured rum promises a depth to match the weight of its name.

    Expert Description

Ron Esclavo XO is a Dominican Republic Rum, produced by Oliver & Oliver via the classic solera method and bottled at 42%.

The rum is aged in a combination of American and French oak casks, where the solera system, with gradual blending of younger and older rum across multiple ageing tiers, gives the bottle its aromatic depth. Ron Esclavo is produced by Oliver & Oliver, a respected Dominican producer known for working with traditional solera techniques, and the XO edition is the house's most intense cuvée, selected from the finest rum components in the solera.

The result is a mahogany-coloured rum with a syrupy, warm body and a long, silky finish.
