Ron Colon Salvadoreno 81 Proof Aged Dark is an El Salvador Rum blending Salvadoran and Jamaican rum, bottled at 40.5%.

The rum is Ron Colón's core release and consists of aged column-distilled rum from the Licorera Cihuatán distillery in El Salvador blended with unaged and aged pot still rum from the Jamaican distilleries Worthy Park, Hampden and Monymusk. The master distiller and blender is Gabriella Ayala. Without coffee infusion, banana oleo or other additions, this Aged Dark edition represents the pure base blend that the rest of the Ron Colón range, including Coffee Infused and Red Banana Oleo, is built upon.

The result is a deep, molasses-driven rum, where Central American smoothness meets Jamaican pot still character in a long, spiced finish.
