The rum is the same classic Planteray XO blend that was launched to mark master blender Alexandre Gabriel's 20th anniversary in the trade, and which has since won over 55 medals at international competitions. In this set, the bottle comes with two dedicated rum glasses, making it a ready-packed gift that goes straight from box to table. The rum is first double-matured in bourbon casks under Caribbean warmth, before travelling to France and being finished in French oak casks from Ferrand.

Tasting Notes

Nose

An inviting amber hue accompanied by coconut, vanilla and caramel, with threads of dark chocolate and ripe tropical fruit.

Palate

Supple and layered with lingering sweetness from coconut and caramel, where the French oak maturation gives a polished, round structure.

Finish
