Camus Père & Fils Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2018 is a Red Wine from Burgundy, France made from Pinot Noir, bottled at 13.5% ABV.
The wine comes from the domaine's parcel in Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, one of the best-known of Gevrey-Chambertin's nine Grand Cru vineyards. The grapes are hand-harvested and traditionally vinified, after which the wine ages 14-18 months in oak barrels, giving a rich and concentrated yet refined wine.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Dark cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry alongside rose petal, spice and forest floor.
Palate
Full-bodied and finely structured with concentrated red and black fruit and firm, well-integrated tannin.
Finish
Long with notes of dark cherry, spice and a light mineral tension.
