Bulleit Frontier Old Fashioned Cocktail Recipe

An Old Fashioned is an old classic cocktail where the recipe consists of water, bitters, sugar and spirits. Over the years, the spirits in the recipe for an Old Fashioned have varied between whiskey, rum, gin, cognac and American bourbon. This opskrift is based on Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey, which makes a perfect combination with Angostura Bitters and Cane sugar.
Ingredients

• 3 cl Bulleit 10 Year Whiskey
• 1 cl Angostura Bitter
• 2 tsp. Cane sugar
• Ice cubes
• Orange for garnish

Procedure

Mix the cocktail in a thick-bottomed glass - e.g. a whisky glass - and put the cane sugar in the glass.
Add Angostura Bitter with a splash of hot water and stir the mixture with a stirring spoon until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Add 3-4 ice cubes and half the whisky. Stir the mixture again for about a minute, then add 2-3 ice cubes and the remaining whiskey. Top up with orange as a garnish.
