Alta Gama El Salvador 11 Year Essentia 1 is an El Salvador Rum from a single cask, aged 11 years and bottled at cask strength with no added sugar, colour or water.
The Essentia range is Alta Gama's purest, untouched expression of rum from El Salvador, where each cask is bottled individually without any form of additive. Essentia 1 is the first release in the range, distilled and aged in the Central American climate, where high temperatures drive a fast, intense maturation over 11 years. The absence of additives means the cask's entire natural character, from fruit to spice, shows through completely unfiltered.
The result is a powerful, complex rum that shows what El Salvador's rum tradition can deliver when nothing stands between the drinker and the cask itself.
