    At the end of 2023, Signatory said goodbye to 43% for good, and this Whitlaw is among the last of its kind. From then on, everything from the house had to be at least 46%.

    Whitlaw 2013/2022 Signatory Vintage 9 år Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70 cl 43% is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, matured in 1st & 2nd fill Oloroso sherry butts and bottled at 43%.

    The whisky was distilled in June 2013 and bottled in December 2022 by Signatory Vintage, matured for 9 years in 1st & 2nd fill Oloroso sherry butts. It is one of the last 43% bottlings Signatory produced before the house raised its minimum strength to 46% for all future releases at the end of 2023.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

    Sherry, dried apricots and a hint of toasted oak.

    Soft with orange marmalade and light spice.
