Renegade Single Farm Origin Pre Cask Old Bacolet is a Grenada Rum, an unaged pot still rum distilled from fresh sugar cane juice from a single farm, Old Bacolet, harvested in 2020 and bottled at 50%.

Renegade Rum Distillery was founded by Mark Reynier, former owner of Bruichladdich and founder of Waterford Distillery, who brought his whisky philosophy of terroir to Grenada. The "Pre Cask" releases show the rum as it is straight from the still, without cask influence, to highlight how a single farm's soil, climate and location shape the flavour. Old Bacolet sits between two rivers on a clay-rich flood plain, a location that Renegade says has a huge influence on the finished distillate.

The result is a fresh, vegetal rum that shows the pure character of the sugar cane without wood's interference.

Transport takes place on CO2-neutral sailing ships, and the bottles are made from recycled glass with cotton paper labels. Skotlander Lab Edition Jamaica High Ester White Rum is a Jamaica Rum, distilled in 2017 from Monymusk and New Yarmouth and matured about 3 years in steel tanks, bottled at natural strength of 75.2%.

The Rum Lab range is Skotlander's experimental branch, where the northern Jutland distillery explores how far rum's flavour spectrum can be stretched. This release is a high ester rum with an ester count of 750 grams per hlpa, a level that places it among the most powerful, intense rums distilled in Jamaica. Instead of ageing the rum in wood, it was matured in steel tanks at fluctuating temperatures between 5 and 22 degrees, preserving the raw, unfiltered distillate character.

With only 400 bottles of this first release in the series, it's a rarity even for Danish rum enthusiasts.

Tanduay Rum Silver is a Philippine Rum aged up to 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels and filtered to a white colour, bottled at 40%.

The rum is distilled by Tanduay Distillers, which traces its roots back to Hagonoy in Bulacan province and today produces in the Manila area. Silver is column-distilled from Philippine sugar cane and aged up to five years in ex-bourbon barrels, after which it's filtered to remove the colour while retaining the flavour from ageing. The rum won a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2018, an unusual achievement for a white rum.

As a Rhum Agricole it's distilled from fresh, unpressed cane juice rather than molasses, and as Cuvée de l'Océan it's neither cask aged nor filtered in a way that would strip away its raw, green character.
