"The 100% natural summer-evening colour, drawn from our exceptional sherry seasoned oak and bourbon casks, mirrors the richness of the flavour waiting inside. On the nose, fresh citrus and honeysuckle are joined by hints of vanilla, coconut and ripe barley fields. On the palate, oak, lemon and melon come forward, accompanied by classic scones and almonds with green tea, before leading into a rich, sweet, long finish."
The packaging for each release carries photographs of The Macallan Estate taken by Mary McCartney, while the presentation boxes and bottle labels are made from discarded meadow clippings - repurposing natural materials to make something beautiful from end-of-life resources, and underlining the sisters' deep connection to the land.

As part of this partnership, The Macallan also joined Stella and Mary McCartney on a journey inspired by nature to create TOGETHER: A Collection for The Macallan by Stella and Mary McCartney, a limited collection of 11 lifestyle pieces designed by the sisters and brought to life by master artists and craftspeople.
The collection gathers a range of bespoke pieces: handmade glassware in vivid colours tinted with natural minerals, an ombre ceramic bottle in an alternative apple-leather sleeve, a pair of brass ice tongs with carefully hand-painted ceramic handles in a green and amber ombre blend, and a brass-cast weight shaped like an acorn, a nod to the exceptional oak casks that mature The Macallan.
The natural inspiration runs throughout: green tones for The Macallan Estate, amber tones for the whisky's natural colour, and the red so closely associated with The Macallan for the brand's respect for tradition and craft.
Having worked with The Macallan before, Mary McCartney said: "This series would not be what it is if we had not been able to spend time with The Macallan. I felt really proud taking my little sister with me to The Macallan Estate on Speyside, because I knew Stella would fall in love with it as much as I did."
