Ron Sostenible Rum 8 Year is a Dominican Republic Rum aged for 8 years and bottled at 40%.

The rum is produced by A Clean Spirit at one of the world's most modern and sustainable distilleries in the Dominican Republic. CO2 from the fermentation process is captured in pressure tanks and reused for soda production, while vinasse from distillation is sprayed back onto the fields as natural fertiliser, and biomass is used as fuel for energy production. The rum is also transported by CO2-neutral sailing ships, and the bottles are made from recycled glass with cotton paper labels. Behind the principle lies the name Sostenible, Spanish for "sustainable".

The result is a smooth and round rum, where caramel and light spice meet a dry, clean finish.
