Poli Segretario di Stato Pure Malt Whisky is the distillery's pure malt expression, bottled at 43%. Poli Distillerie was founded in 1898 by GioBatta Poli in Schiavon in Italy's Veneto region, originally using a mobile still to distil grappa from local grape skins. After four generations, the distillery is today run by siblings Jacopo, Giampaolo, Barbara and Andrea Poli, who in the 1980s renewed the business with a focus on craftsmanship, small batches and single-varietal grappa. Alongside its famous grappa, the family today also produces whisky, brandy and gin.
