For every bottle sold, a portion of the proceeds goes to Thin Blue Line Denmark, a charity supporting police officers who have suffered physical or psychological injury in the line of duty.

    Expert Description

Old St. Croix XO Reserve The Thin Blue Line is a Danish West Indies Spirit Drink, a blend of rum from the Caribbean and Central America aged between 7 and over 21 years, bottled at 40%.

The spirit drink builds on the historic legacy of the Danish pharmacist Albert Heinrich Riise, who worked on the island of St. Thomas in the Caribbean in the 19th century. This special edition in the XO Reserve series is composed of selected casks from renowned distilleries in the Caribbean and Central America, which are then further matured in oak barrels to add depth, roundness and subtle complexity. The name Thin Blue Line honours the association of the same name, and a portion of the proceeds from every bottle sold goes to the association's work supporting injured police officers.

The result is a full-bodied, elegant spirit drink with distinct cask influence and a long, silky finish.
