Six stills, nine distillations for every two runs of spirit – Mortlach's process is so eccentric that no other distillery has dared copy it.

    Expert's Description

Mortlach 2012/2023 Signatory Vintage Small Batch Edition No. 1 is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky combining oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, bottled at 48.2%.

Signatory's Small Batch series combines a small number of casks to deliver a more complex, yet still hand-picked profile than the pure single cask releases. The combination of oloroso sherry and bourbon gives this Mortlach both dark fruit and lighter vanilla tones.
