Meet our new rum blogger - Sylvia H. Holm

am 25 years old, early retired and have a passion for making the most of life and enjoying all the little things. My main interests lie in good sound and good spirits, especially rum. I have a great love for rum from Guyana, which my own collection also consists of. When it comes to Guyana, Uitvlugt's Savalle column kettle is probably the favorite, but there are also quite a few Caroni in the collection. I've been a rum geek since I was 19, after I became acquainted with a bottle Worthy Park from Jamaica, bottled by Compagnie des Indes. I love to immerse myself and explore, challenge and expand my taste and horizons, even if I've tasted most things, I can always learn more. It's always more fun to taste and dive deep into the rum when you do it with others. It's just as fun to hear what others experience, beginners as well as seasoned nerds, when you sit and enjoy the same rum.
