Double the amber calm on one table – a bottle that does not just take up more space, but also catches the eye long before the cork is pulled.
Expert's Description
Martha's MAGNUM 10 Year Old Tawny Port is an aged Tawny Port in the unusual magnum format of 150 cl with an alcohol content of 20%.
The wine is blended so that the youngest component is at least 10 years old, and has rested in oak barrels in the family's lodges in Baixo Corgo, with the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Amarela and Tinta Roriz making up the blend.
The magnum format is rare for an aged Tawny Port and makes this bottle a striking centrepiece at larger dinners or as an unusual gift.
Martha's Wine & Spirits is today run by the sixth generation of the family, who have been part of Baixo Corgo's wine history since 1727.
