Loch Lomond Peated Single Grain is a Highland Single Grain Scotch Whisky matured in American oak and bottled at 46%.

The whisky is distilled from peated malted barley on the distillery's continuous Coffey still, giving it a light, grain-like body combined with an earthy, medicinal smoke. The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Clove, vanilla and blackcurrant, with peat leaning towards bandages and a touch of iodine, alongside fresh lemons and pears.

Palate

Sweet, tangy peat with green apple, lime citrus and aniseed, followed by vanilla and a note of lemongrass.

Finish

Crisp, dry finish with distant peat smoke and a short but clear peaty impression.
