Lindores Abbey Casks of Lindores Oloroso Sherry Butts is an exclusive Lowland Single Malt Whisky with an alcohol strength of 49.4%. This edition has been matured exclusively in carefully selected Oloroso sherry butts, giving the whisky a deep and full-bodied character.

The flavor profile offers rich notes of dark fruits, dried fruit, nuts, and spices, complemented by a delicate sweetness from the sherry casks. Its silky texture and long, warm finish make this whisky a true experience for those who appreciate an intense and sherry-influenced dram.

Perfect for both collectors and enthusiasts of complex Lowland whisky with a rich sherry influence.

Lindores is a place of great significance in Scotch whisky history. It was here that the first officially recognized distillation of Scotch whisky took place in 1494. Distillation at Lindores started over 500 years ago when the then King James IV asked Brother John Cor, a monk in Lindores Abbey, to make Aqua Vitae from 8 sacks of barley. Lindores is delighted to reopen the history book and invite you to be part of it and help preserve the abbey for the next 500 years
